Describe your object?
My object is a tricolor scarf. It is not very long; it measures almost 2 meters. It is narrow, and the threads are arranged by blocks of four colors, black, white, orange and blue.

This object was made by weavers in Niger
How is your object meaningful to you?
I use it on special days, and I identify with it.
How do you see yourself as an artist in your community?
It is not an easy task, but we get on with it and we take it on despite certain unfavorable points of view about us. Many encourage us for our talent and support us in everything we do.
What is your hope for the future?
By starting with the ancestral heritage, to re-create a way to promote Nigerian culture through its heritage.
