Stuffed animal cat. Plush, but weathered.

Where is your object from?
It is from a store called “Stuff It N Luv It”

How is your object meaningful to you?
Lily has spent every night with me since their birth. I was told to fill out a birth certificate for Lily and I said they were “male”. Lily originally wore a dress with a Lily on it. I was eight years old then.

How do you see yourself as an artist in your community?
I am an artist focused on the body and connecting it to our environment with emotion.

What is your hope for the future?
Happiness and whole acceptance.

Un chat en peluche bien fourre’, mais un peu use’.

D’où vient votre objet?
Il vient d’un magasin qui s’appelle “ Stuff it n Luv it” ( fourrez-le et aimez-le)

Comment votre objet a-t-il un sens pour vous?
“ Lily” passe chaque nuit avec moi depuis sa “naissance” On m’a dit de remplir son certificat de naissance, et j’ai marque’ qu’il était male. Lily avait au début une robe avec un Lis dessus. J’avais 8 ans à l’époque.

Comment vous voyez-vous comme artiste dans votre communauté?
Je suis une artiste contenter sur le corps et sa connection avec notre environnent

Quel est votre espoir pour l’avenir?
D’être heureuse et complètement acceptée
