2 hair combs that belonged to my grandmother in Texas. The smaller is silver and has engravings, the larger is silver with turquoise.

How is your object meaningful to you?
Both belonged to my Grandmother, when I wear them it is nice to have something of hers.
How do you see yourself as an artist in your community?
I see myself as an artist in my community by making things all of the time – even if it is a practical item, the fact that I made something with my hands makes it art in a way.
What is your hope for the future?
To keep making and working with others.
